Afternoon Delight: Fazeley Studios

We recently sourced, hired and styled our props for a pop up afternoon tea event at Fazeley Studios in Birmingham. Imagining ourselves in a glasshouse for the afternoon, embracing the Ritz era love of the palm and the pineapple, we massively dodged a chintzy, mismatched china affair, and instead wheeled out The Beryl.

The Beryl is our glorious collection of pale mint Woods Ware crockery. Blending these with our beautiful flock of swan planters and white ceramic pineapples, we decorated ordinary cafe booths with pendant bunches of palm leaves, and botanical creeping planters.
